Easter in Nice: Celebrate Spring with Family Traditions & Egg Hunts

Easter is a Catholic holiday celebrated on 21 April. It commemorates the resurrection of Jesus but also celebrates spring! As the daffodils bloom, parents hide chocolate in the garden to celebrate Easter.

Young and old alike can then go on an egg hunt. Traditionally, the chocolates are in the shape of eggs, but also animals such as chicks, rabbits, sheep, etc. Some families decorate hard-boiled eggs by painting their shells green or red.
